Back From Vacation!

We got a hotel room with bunk beds!  Daddy was happy it was on the first floor and the van got to park right in front of the room!

Anna and Rebekah are waiting for the rides at Disney Land to open.

Still waiting for the rides to open. Rachel decides to take a picture herself.

Joel is having a good time in the stroller.

Our first ride at Disney Land was the Carousel.

See all those people coming through the castle? That's the Peter Pan line on the left within 10 minutes of the park opening.

Which one is Mr. Toad?

Check out our Start Wars shirts!

The kids wore their tie die shirts to CA Adventure.

We are on Mickey's FUN wheel and we are having fun.

Anna had so much fun, it wore her out.

But later she woke up and was very happy.

I'm the only one having fun on this ride!

Joel is smiling big inside.

Rachel is also smiling big inside.

See! There is that smile!

It pays to have a birthday so close to a Disney Land Trip

I think Rebekah's the prettiest!

We went to the beach before driving down to Lego Land.

Rachel is thinking about dipping a toe in.

We made a sand castle and decorated it.

What a pretty sunset

It's fun to stand next to a giant Lego man.

Anna, Rebekah, and 5 Lego friends.

One ride had duplos for Anna to play with while she waited.

Joel is driving all by himself!

Rachel and Rebekah are flying a helicopter!

Joel rides the jousting horse.

Rachel and Joel stand next to one of their favorite Nexo Knights.  Clay!

Joel posed for pictures while Rachel and I were on the Bionicle ride.

This is just like the tea cups! So dumb that Joel couldn't go.

Who wants ice cream?

I don't want the $800 Falcon set, I want this one!

This is one of my favorite battle scenes from all of Star Wars. And look! It's all in Legos.

That armor is too strong for blasters.

Darth Vader never knew how close Rachel was to busting up his tie fighter.

"I am your father," said my father.

Back to the beach and then time to head home.

We all made sure not to get too sandy before the trip home.

Planes from last Christmas

Last Christmas I made planes for several of my kid relatives and Joel.  I never posted them, so here they are now.

Tie Die

Rebekah organized a really cool home school event where they made tie die shirts.  The ones Rachel, Joel, and Rebekah made look great!

Labor Day Project

Now the kids can do their art on the table with a nice easel.  This one folds right up for storage, and has clips on both sides so both Rachel and Joel can do art at the same time.  We can clamp it to the table so it won't move around.
This is the frame. I cut 2x3s into 5/8 inch boards and then joined them together using biscuits.

I glued on some 3/16 inch plywood to be the hard surface and screwed on some balloon clips to hold the paper.

Anna's 1 Year Photoshoot

Anna Loves the Fairy Garden

Anna likes to walk away from the camera. She's got more important things to do.

She's So Cute!!!

Fairy Gardens are Fun

I love my Daddy!

I love my Mommy!

She can just close her eyes for a bit.

Uh Oh

She's got a rock!

Look in my mouth!
